Valcucine with Elogico at Chelsea Art Museum New York
From May 16th to May 19th, in occasion of the ICFF exhibition, in the prestigious Chelsea Art Museum www.chelseartmuseum.org , some of the Companies that are at the moment partner in Elogico project (Artemide, Valcucine, Haute Material, Casamania, Horm, Moroso, Palazzetti, Alberto Del Biondi Industria del Design, Vistosi, Zanette) will be protagonist of four days of meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
The products of the Italian companies will be displayed until the 13th of June.
There is much expectation for the conference of VIU (Venice International University), the academic partner in the project, which will present on Sunday 17th May the first results of the research about the opportunities of national and international competitiveness of the Companies of the Made in Italy thanks to the “green design” value.
Elogico will present a conference plus round-table discussion, with the participation of VIU (Venice International University), outlining the latest research undertaken in the area of sustainable design, giving a snapshot of the ‘status quo' with regard to leading Italian producers and looking in a wider sense at the trends in sustainability with relation to production processes, products and communication.
VIU will be represented by the Prof. Marco Bettiol, chief researcher at the Tedis Centre.
Following the Conference there will be a round-table discussion chaired by Prof. Stefano Micelli, .
The themes of the round table discussion will be:
- the relationship between Italian producers and the American Market;
- the issue of certification;
- communication strategy for “made in Italy” in relation to sustainability.
