The collaboration involves a global distribution agreement and the preview presentation of custom-designed materials for the upcoming Milan Design Week 2024.
At the heart of this collaboration are two innovative surfaces: MDi and MVi.
Both materials stand out for their eco-compatibility, excellent technical performance, and aesthetic versatility. MDi, which stands for Minerals Design Innovation, finds its highest expression in Valcucine's worktops, boiserie, Genius Loci collection drawers, and interior design and architectural surfaces. This sustainable material is created using the finest natural minerals Thanks to an innovative production process and full digital technology, MDi offers an extraordinarily defined texture and aesthetic continuity between the surface and the core of the slab. MDi's design thinking approach is based on concepts of reduction, reuse, well-being, durability, and material recycling. This approach ensures not only total alignment with Valcucine's values but also LEED v4.1 credits.
MVi represents the new frontier of sustainability and elegance in the world of surfaces. Designed with high-level technical performance, refined aesthetics, and exceptional sustainability, MVi offers endless design solutions. The digital technology used in the production process allows the creation of designs and textures that play with transparency and translucency, resulting in a product of great richness and chromatic versatility.
MVi is a completely sustainable surface developed according to rigorous environmental standards, in line with the commitment to nature from both Inalco and Valcucine.
Through the introduction of MDi and MVi surfaces, Valcucine demonstrates that it is possible to combine luxury, functionality, and environmental responsibility, offering consumers advanced and sustainable design solutions for their luxury kitchens and integration solutions with architecture and interior design for architects.
With this agreement, Valcucine and Inalco strengthen their leading role in the sector, outlining the future of high-end kitchens with a vision that embraces aesthetics, functionality and sustainability.
