More than mere storage, the Genius Loci drawers embody a philosophy that celebrates the connection between space and the spirit of the home. Designed with a stunning cut glass effect, they transform into works of art in their own right. Working alongside the visionary design team at Valcucine Chicago | Mobili Möbel, the project began to take flight. They crafted a striking black-and-white color scheme inspired by the classic elegance of a black-and-white tie suit—tidy and classy, yet inviting.
The kitchen came to life with matte white glass cabinetry and angled drawer fronts in rich black glass, cut into eye-catching pyramid shapes that evoked the glamour of formal wear.
The design featured two stunning islands—one for washing and the other for casual seating—both strategically positioned to provide a breathtaking view of the pool. Above the oven, a large hood gracefully concealed behind Valcucine's Aerius wall unit added to the kitchen's sleek lines, complemented by glossy white glass paneling and delicate floating shelves.
On the wall separating the kitchen from the family room, a cleverly designed bar showcased Valcucine's Logica Celata in Pure White glossy Vitrum. With a simple wave of her hand, the glass door glided open, revealing a thoughtfully arranged space for crafting drinks and displaying her Venetian glassware.
The outcome was a stunning marriage of form and function, where the kitchen transcended mere utility to become a jewel in the heart of the home—a space imbued with warmth and elegance, rich in character.
