Valcucine London's opening ceremony, which was held on Tuesday 19th September in Great Portland Street, unfolded in a context of art and beauty in a warm atmosphere created by a multitude of participants.
During the London Design Festival, international and local architects and designers took part in the opening of Valcucine's new store in England during which Tony Chambers, director of Wallpaper*, accompanied by brand representatives, did the honours of the house in his customary, casually elegant style. Thanks to the harmony imparted by the space, the products showcased and the performance offered by Maestro Beatrice Venezi, Valcucine's Ambassador for the Master of Class-Master of Glass campaign, the event turned out to be a truly unique experience “in a kitchen”. The musician paid a tribute to the brand by conducting the British Tamora String Quartet in some very famous pieces of classical music.
“Beatrice is an extraordinary musician and her presence at last night's event proved how strong the bond between design and culture can be. Valcucine is an important brand that stands for its style and high-end kitchens and we are convinced that this new space in the heart of London will become a design hub.” said Tony Chambers in his opening speech for the event.
This is another phase in ItalianCreationGroup's strategy: a space that perfectly accommodates the various brands of the Group. Driade furniture and FontanaArte lighting are showcased here together with Valcucine kitchens.
